What is it?
oDesk is a unique place to work. As such you are expected to familiarize yourself with our policies and best practices so your can take advantage of everything that oDesk has to offer. The oDesk Readiness Test is a straightforward tutorial, designed to be a quick introduction for users new to oDesk. It has the following specifications:
- 11 multiple choice questions
- Open Book (Use of reference material during the test is highly encouraged)
- 100% correct to pass
- Generous 1 hour time limit (Should take less than 15 minutes to complete for most users)
- No waiting period to retake
Why should I take it?
The oDesk Readiness Test is recommended for all oDesk providers. You will be limited to two job applications per week until you become oDesk Ready. Passing the test also ensures that you know everything you need in order to work and earn money on oDesk.
How do I prepare for it?Please do the following before taking the oDesk Readiness Test:
- Download and install oDesk Team
- Review oDesk Team app help and tutorials
Everything here is self-explanatory. If you have passed oDesk Test, you will havethe ability to apply for 20 jobs in 1 week. If your not oDesk Ready (means that you have passed the exam), you can only apply to 2 jobs per week. It will also help you be shortlisted by buyers. The buyers choose oDesk Ready providers because they will know the the Provider is really serious to apply and work at oDesk. Before applying to any jobs, do this test first.
